reactive dog class

Please note: once class begins, payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Reactive: barking, lunging, leash pulling and/or growling at other dogs or people when out in public.
If you’re unsure whether this is the right class for your dog, contact us before registering.

What you need to know:

Class is 6 weeks long.
We meet for one hour each week.
Class location is about 5 minutes north of Riverside park in Kelso. Address will be sent in an email.
Cost of this class is $250 and is due at time of registration.

Some of the skills we cover in class:

Handler focus.
Marker system.
Place stay.
Impulse control exercises.
Basic obedience skills (leash manners, sit, down, stay, coming when called).
Eye contact on cue.
Front position.
Leave it.
A few tricks and work on obstacles for fun as well as trust and relationship building.

For this class you will need:

Training collar (no harnesses or head halters).
4’ leash
Variety of soft training treats your dog loves.
Treat pouch.
Raised bed (I will supply this for class).
Long line (15’-20’)

Vaccinations required are:

Rabies
Distemper
Parvovirus
Bordetella

Class starts Thursday, April 11th @ 4:00 pm.
